Having listened to one of Jason Rowe's demo songs, Jed Leiber commented: "I need a break. This is absolutely crazy!" His observation reflects the sentiments shared by everybody who was involved in the recording of Rowe's "Lovelife" album.
Jason Rowe, the songwriter and thoroughbred musician who was born in a small town near Bristol (England), has written an homage to his love life.
The songs were conceived in collaboration with co-writers such as Louis Goffin, Dominic Miller, Greg Wells, and his co-producer, Jim Huff. Musically, he was supported on his album by amazing instrumentalists - Jason's dream musicians, among them Randy Cooke (drums), Jon Button (bass) and Dave Yaden (keyboards). The legendary sound mixer, Barry Rudolph, helmed the recordings, and Chris Bellman (mastering for Elton John, Guns N' Roses, among others) of "Bernie Grundman Mastering" had a lot of "fun" at the studio.
The result is Jason Rowe's very own, personal "LOVELIFE".
Even his purely acoustic shows have his audience jump to their feet, and his fans compare him with the musicians that he has admired since his adolescence.
