来自瑞典Borlange市的带着英伦味道的Garage摇滚国宝Mando Diao。第四张新专辑《Never Seen The Light Of Day》实在太棒了。
带着英伦味道的Garage摇滚让Mando Diao近俩年在世界十分走红，从99年组建到今天共发行了四张专辑，一年多一点时间发行一张的速度让人们觉得可能有些过于急噪或者是一个只注重产量而不注重质量的乐队。（5.6月来参加了北京的流行音乐节）
但是这些谣言完完全全可以用Mando Diao的作品来消灭。尤其今天这张新作《Never Seen The Light Of Day》，一共收录11首新歌。Mando Diao在整体的音乐风格当中和以前一样，继续以弦乐为铺导旋律，充满整张专辑。小提琴也是拉的十分有力，感人。随着节奏的变快而变的更加带劲。从开篇的“If I Don't Live Today, Then I Might Be Here Tomorrow”和“ Never Seen The Light Of Day”“Gold”你就可以感觉出来。“If I Don't Live Today, Then I Might Be Here Tomorrow”是Mando Diao选做新专辑的第一只单曲于9月24号发行，同时也选做新专辑的开篇曲。让一打开音乐的人们有种莫名的感觉，首先是有些中国味道的乐器引起整首歌曲，欢快的鼓点与无限优美的弦乐做主导，引诱的效果做的十分出色，继续让后面进发。而“Gold”则是一首让人偏偏起舞的欢快浪漫小曲，有着优秀的小提琴旋律做为开篇，加上快速的节奏和十分动人“la la la la la la.... ”的演唱，实在是一首让人十分雀跃的歌曲。“Not A Perfect Day”则有一些Oasis做抒情慢调歌曲的感觉，动听的木吉他旋律拌着主唱Bj?rn Dixg?rd 感性的嗓音，是一首不错的吉他抒情歌曲。
专辑的最后一首歌曲“Dalarna”，算是给整张专辑来了一次高潮，直接性的把人们的情感引上最高潮，不知道是否Mando Diao 近几年来中国来的次数多了，受到了中国风味的东西影响，“Dalarna”是一首以东方风味的吉他旋律开篇的8分钟的曲子，加上一些飘渺燎人的女生合声，迷得千万家。在感动的旋律中，几句女声小小的吟唱过后结束了整张专辑。留恋往返，意游未尽的感觉充满了整个大脑。
Never Seen The Light Of Day is the fourth studio album by Swedish band Mando Diao. Produced By Björn Olsson and engineerd by Patrik Heikinpieti. It was recorded in 2007 while the band were on an exhaustive tour of the world. The album was preceded with a single, If I Don't Live Today, I Might Be Here Tomorrow, all around the world on September 24th, 2007. The songs are said to be calmer and more sensitive than the band's usual style. A limited edition of the album will be released (on the same day as the regular edition) in a special digipak, but with no bonus tracks announced of yet. No bonus tracks have been announced for the Japanese release either.
