In April, 2007, LOCAL SOUND STYLE, who played with many top artists such as DAPHNE LOVES DERBY, DREAM STATE, HOLIDAY WITH MAGGIE and WAKING ASHLAND finally released their first long-awaited full album "Doing It For The Kids" produced by Ed Rose who previously produced big bands such as THE GET UP KIDS and MOTION CITY SOUND TRACK.
With this album, LOCAL SOUND STYLE went up to #60 in the Japanese National Chart, and was ranked in #12 for the first week and #10 for the second week in the SOUNDSCAN Japanese Rock Chart. This resulted in an unexpected sales as a newcomer and LOCAL SOUND STYLE showed his power and unlimited possibilities despite the stagnation of the Japanese Indie Rock Scene.
