Hotel Lights is an American indie band founded by songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Darren Jessee former drummer for Ben Folds Five.
Hotel Lights is songwriter Darren Jessee (former Ben Folds Five drummer and co-songwriter). His 2005 self-titled debut was lauded for "heartfelt songs that make the most of a catchy melody" and his songs were featured on TV's "Grey's Anatomy" and in the film "Baby Mama". The fresh sound on this release recalls Wilco's "Summerteeth" or Nada Surf's "Let Go".
