Pop Evil is an American rock band from Muskegon, Michigan. It was formed in 2001 by Leigh Kakaty, Dave Gracia, Jamie Nummer and Dylan Allison.
Grand Rapids hard-rock band Pop Evil has earned some national pub in the past, including some buzz around the single "Somebody Like You."
Now, on the verge of its nationally distributed debut album, "Lipstick on the Mirror," the band -- Leigh Kakaty, Dave Grahs, Dylan Allison, Matt DiRito and Tony Greve -- is earning all kinds of radio play (from Grand Rapids to Denver) for its latest single, "Hero."
It's the leadoff track on the upcoming CD and today's featured "Sound Check" selection. Now signed to the Pazzo Music record label, Pop Evil will tour later summer with Puddle of Mudd and play the Allegan County Fair on Sept. 11 with Daughtry.
